Father’s Day Recipe Roundup

So are you guys doing anything fun for Father’s Day? There is something about Father’s Day that just necessitates an awesome breakfast I think. Maybe it’s because as a kid I always wanted to make my parents breakfast in bed, despite the fact that I’m pretty sure neither of them like to eat in bed…

Here are some of my favorite breakfast recipes to help get you in the Father’s Day spirit.

These Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes always hit the spot. I like to sprinkle them with cinnamon. They are sweet but not over-the-top. Remember to soak the oats overnight.

You really can’t go wrong with basic Waffles. This is such a great recipe. I think Eric and I have probably made these waffles more times than any other recipe ever. It is a Saturday morning classic. Fancy it up by topping it with this amazing Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce.

These Bacon Egg Toast Cups are pretty fabulous, and honestly don’t take long to put together. And hello, what man doesn’t like bacon? Father’s Day win.

Strawberry Stuffed French Toast!! This hardly needs an explanation.

Or you could keep it simple with this quick and easy Butterscotch Oatmeal. I eat this for breakfast almost every morning, no joke. It is so good.

Maple Bars. He will love you for this. You will love you for this. You might want to make these the day before though, unless you like getting up at 2 in the morning.

Have a happy Father’s Day everyone!! Today I’m listening to Ventura Highway by America, which is my Dad’s favorite song. (Or perhaps one favorite among several thousand. My love of music definitely was instilled in me by my awesome Dad.) Happy Father’s Day Dad!!

***P.S. Come back next week for my first giveaway on Monday, June 18th!!***
